LIGHT REFLECTIVE VALUE
BS8439:2008 requires that a Light Reflective Value (LRV) of at least 30 points is measured between the surface of a door and adjacent frame/wall. This standard also confirms that the LRV between a door surface and the attached ironmongery be at least 15 points. Colour schemes need to be established at an early stage to demonstrate compliance.
